For the Holiday Season, Amihan has partnered up with World Vision Philippines to create a child sponsorship program.
Amihan Global Strategies, a leading provider of digital transformation solutions and services, has launched Pamaskong Handog ng Amihan, a corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative, with World Vision in the Philippines, to support its goal of helping the most vulnerable children break free from poverty.
Under this CSR project, Amihan will promote the World Vision child sponsorship program to encourage employees, partners, and communities to make a life-changing difference by pledging or sponsoring a child this Christmas.
“Giving back this Christmas shows the true spirit of this holiday season and underscores the importance of giving instead of receiving,” Jerry Rapes said, President of Amihan. “Every child deserves more and we have this beautiful opportunity to help turn things around for them. Through this project, together we can change their life stories.”
World Vision, soon celebrating its 65 years of service to children and communities, has helped at least 1.5 million children in the last few years with the help of thousands of generous Filipino sponsors, donors, and like-minded partners from both the public and private sector.
World Vision aims to help the most vulnerable children and their communities overcome poverty and experience the fullness of life. For only 750 pesos a month, one can sponsor and go a long way to help a child gain access to better education, health, nutrition, and build a brighter future.
